Lydden Hill 2017 – What a great weekend

Wow, what a great weekend of weather and the very best scooter racing.

We welcomed the Casa Lambretta Team for their first visit of 2017 and their welcome addition to what was already one of the biggest grids of recent years made for a truly fabulous weekend of racing. Once our Italian colleagues got their bikes and riders set up they became more competitive as the weekend went on and there was some extremely close races with some being won by margins of only hundredths of seconds across the line.

The top English riders were at the top of their game and special mention must go to race winners Lee Bamber, Stuart Day and Darren Conneely who all produced brilliant side by side race action with the Casa riders that had the crowds gasping at times
